You don't know how much this Certificate means to me...
This makes me prouder than my bachelor's degree (Education with minor in Math) and even prouder than passing FINRA's Series 7 exam in 1997.
I faced a few challenges, such as working, moving from coast to coast (twice), and a pandemic! But my resilience and determination to help others kept me going.
Do you now see why this was my 2nd happiest day?
PS. My Wedding! My wedding day was the first!
You were wondering, I know!
Years ago, when I was asked "What do you want?" I couldn't find an answer. I always used to know and always had such a drive, but things had changed. Due to a series of very difficult personal events, I was stuck and sad for quite some time.
Suddenly, it hit me: “HAVE I BEEN IN SURVIVAL MODE?”
To make matters worse, my income was declining. Yet I kept on spending like it didn’t. Carpe Diem and denial were my ways to "deal" with stress. I was downhearted and overwhelmed, until one day I couldn’t take it anymore.
I stopped beating myself up and decided to FORGIVE MYSELF instead, which helped me come back even STRONGER. I chose to take responsibility and to learn. (Without knowing it, I discovered the three true superpowers to transformation: Self-awareness, self-compassion & self-agency!) I committed to doing things right and swore I would never put myself in that position again.
NEVER AGAIN!
When I started getting my sh*t together, amazing things began to unfold: a new job and other exciting income opportunities. I started paying off my debt and got back on track to reach other goals. Then came a breathtaking husband, new places to live and new dreams to pursue!
This life experience truly ended up empowering me and then it unfolded one more thing:
MY TRUE AND UNIQUE PURPOSE!
I am now a Certified Financial Planner ™
and would be more than honored to help you also
CREATE A NEW LIFE VISION AND A PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH IT!
I still do nerdy stuff like building Excel financial spreadsheets and watching/listening about finance, psychology & neuroscience.
I also love good series shows, sailing, sipping wine and tasting my husband's cocktail recipes.
We love to travel, entertain, and most importantly, to spend quality time with our friends and family.
